Common questions
How should I split a marketing budget across channels?
By what you can measure, then by what you're testing. A common starting point is roughly 70% to channels with proven return, 20% to scaling promising ones and 10% to genuine experiments.
What does pacing mean?
How much of the budget has been spent versus how much of the period has elapsed. Being 80% spent a third of the way through a quarter is a pacing problem you want to see in week four, not week twelve.
Can I track spend against results in the same view?
Yes. Put spend and the outcome column side by side and cost per result computes per channel — which is the number that decides next quarter's split.
