Security and your data
You upload real business numbers, so here is plainly how they are handled. If you need more for a security review, email us and we will answer it.
Your data is never used to train AI
Files you upload are used only to run the analysis you ask for. Our AI provider processes each request in real time and is contractually barred from keeping it or training on it.
Every AI answer can be checked
The AI does not guess numbers. It runs real calculations on your rows, and each answer shows the calculations it ran, so anyone can audit the result.
Encrypted in transit and in storage
Every connection to the site and the app uses TLS. Uploaded files are kept in encrypted object storage.
Each organisation is walled off
Every file, dashboard and report belongs to one organisation, and every request is checked against it. Client workspaces keep each client separate inside an agency account.
Passwords and payments
Passwords are stored only as salted hashes. Card payments go straight to Stripe; card numbers never reach our servers.
You stay in control
Delete your files at any time. When an account is closed, its files are deleted within 30 days, sooner on request.
Who is responsible for what
For the data you upload, you are the controller and DataHub Pro Ltd is the processor: we handle it only to run the service you asked for. For your own account and billing details, we are the controller. The privacy policy sets out what we collect and why, and lists our sub-processors.
Agreements and questionnaires
A signed Data Processing Agreement is available to any customer. Email hello@datahubpro.co.uk with the subject “DPA request” and your organisation’s legal name. The same address takes security questionnaires. More detail is on the GDPR & DPA page.
Reporting a vulnerability
If you think you have found a security problem, email hello@datahubpro.co.uk with the subject “Security”. Please give us a chance to fix it before telling anyone else. We reply to every report.
