How do I find what changed between two versions of a file?
Match rows on a key column, then compare the remaining fields. You get three lists: rows added, rows removed, and rows where a value changed, with the before and after side by side.
Can it compare files with columns in a different order?
Yes — matching is by column name and key, not by position, so a reordered or re-exported file still compares cleanly.
What if the two files have different column names?
Map them once — 'Customer' to 'customer_name' — and the comparison runs against the mapping. This is the normal case when comparing exports from two different systems.
