Common questions

What do I need to build a Gantt chart?

Four columns: task name, start date, due date and percent complete. That's enough to draw the bars and colour them by schedule health — everything else is optional detail.

How does the template know a task is behind?

It compares percent complete against how much of the task's duration has elapsed. A task 30% done with 70% of its window gone is behind, and gets coloured accordingly.

Can I share the timeline without giving people a login?

Yes. A live share link renders the timeline for anyone with the URL, optionally password-protected and with an expiry date.
